Have you ever discovered a most beautiful craft and wanted to be part of it? This was me in 2006 after recovering from surgery. Time to stay quiet but yet, not go into veggie status. A friend in Saskatchewan sent me a book featuring several Japanese handwork patterns. My first viewing of TEMARI. A whole section dedicated to this beautiful art.
So my journey began. I made my first two Temari works of art. Well, I say that loosely because they both are mis-shapen, and bumpy, but they are mine, and to me very beautiful indeed.
